Give at least five names or titles by which Satan is known in Scripture.

Our enemy is known by many titles: the evil one; a murderer, a liar, and the father of lies; the ruler of this world; the god of this world; the prince of the power of the air; and the great dragon, the serpent of old, the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. His very names "devil" and "Satan" mean adversary, accuser, and slanderer, and he was first called Lucifer, the shining one. Knowing what he is called is part of knowing the enemy we fight.

Also asked: What are some of the names and titles that Scripture uses to refer to our adversary?
