What does the Bible teach about grace and truth?

The Bible teaches that God's character is revealed in Jesus Christ, who is 'full of grace and truth' (John 1:18). Grace is the means by which people receive the Gospel and are saved through faith, providing eternal security. It is a total operation that provides all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places, making us alive together with Christ. Truth is the Word of God, revealed to believers through the Holy Spirit, who guides them into all truth. The secret to spiritual power lies in our relationship with the Holy Spirit, who fills us with the fullness of Christ's life when we walk in obedience to His guidance and confess our sins. As believers, we are on this Earth to be light and salt, revealing the grace and truth of God to a lost world. We must redeem time by living a day at a time in the filling of the Holy Spirit, using every opportunity to share the Gospel and display the manifold wisdom of God. The great spiritual conflict plays out in our souls, where we choose for or against the plan of God, taking the side of grace and truth by faith in Jesus Christ or relying on ourselves. We are guerrilla soldiers placed by God in enemy territory as an offensive force, displaying the riches of His grace and kindness toward the Church throughout all ages.
