What is the role of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life?

The Holy Spirit bears witness to our relationship with God, guides us into all truth through the study of the Word, and empowers the Church for its mission of evangelism and edification. He produces divine production in a believer's life, which is the visible result of His work, consisting of every thought, word, and deed performed in the filling of the Holy Spirit. This production includes the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The Holy Spirit also convicts unbelievers of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He is the One who redeems time for believers, helping them to live in the filling of the Spirit and store up rewards in heaven.
