What are the five techniques for appropriating the power of God?
The five progressive techniques for appropriating God's power are confession, spirituality, faith-rest, living in the Word, and occupation with Christ. First, confession cleanses us to be filled by the Spirit. Second, spirituality involves staying filled by not grieving or quenching the Spirit. Third, faith-rest is relying on the Word to produce inner peace. Fourth, living in the Word means prioritizing the Word above all else for spiritual growth and conformity to Christ. Finally, occupation with Christ requires concentrating on and imitating the Person of Jesus Christ to finish our race without growing weary.
