What are the characteristics and requirements of divine wisdom?
Divine wisdom abides forever, unlike passing earthly wisdom. Because the world rejects the Lord Jesus Christ—the personification of wisdom—this wisdom must be revealed by the Spirit, as it cannot be found by man or perceived through human senses. As a gift of God, divine wisdom is received only by faith, which comes through instruction. One cannot be spiritual while remaining negative toward Bible study or spiritual truth. Ultimately, possessing divine wisdom is a characteristic of spiritual maturity, accessible only through divine revelation and spiritual perception.
