What is the secret of spiritual power?
The secret to spiritual power lies in our relationship with the Holy Spirit. To be filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18) means to have the fullness of Christ's life reproduced in us, just as Jesus was full of grace and truth (John 1:14). This is not a one-time event but a continuous process that requires moment-by-moment dependence on Him. We must walk in the Spirit (Gal. 5:16), living a life of obedience to His guidance, and not quench or grieve Him by sinning or omitting to obey God's Word (1 Thess. 5:19). To maintain fellowship with God, we need to confess our sins when we commit them (1 John 1:9) and continue in sustained fellowship through obedience to His Word (1 John 1:7). This is the key to experiencing spiritual power and fruitfulness for Christ.
