Explain man’s role in the spiritual war.
The great spiritual conflict, begun by Lucifer's rebellion, now plays out in the souls of men on planet Earth. To simplify the angelic conflict, God narrowed our options in every circumstance to two choices: we may choose for the plan of God, taking the side of grace and truth by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, or against it, taking the side of evil and lies by relying on ourselves. In this way each of us becomes a battleground where the conflict is decided, and believers even display the manifold wisdom of God to the angelic realm as they watch His grace work in us. We are guerrilla soldiers placed by God in the middle of enemy territory as an offensive force.
