Name four categories of reward described in the Bible. Name five kinds of crowns and the reasons for which they will be given.

The Bible describes four categories of reward in eternity: praise, crowns, rank and authority, and glory. Among the crowns there are five. The crown of righteousness is given for faithfulness to the Lord in life. The crown of joy is given for faithfulness in witnessing. The crown of glory is given for faithfulness in ministry. The crown of life is given for faithfulness in testing. And the incorruptible crown is given for self-discipline in the spiritual life.
