How would you explain to a friend the events that will close out human history? What Scriptures would you use to back your claims?

Sketch out for your friend the shape of what is coming, and ask what he thinks will happen when history reaches its end. Walk from the Rapture, when the Lord catches His people up in the twinkling of an eye, through the day of the Lord, the seven-year Tribulation, to the return of Christ, using Acts 1:6-8 and 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5 to show that we know the order of events, even though no one knows the day or the hour.
