What does the Bible teach about the Rapture?

The Rapture is a future event in which Christ will take the Church out of the world, catching His people up to meet Him in the air. This event is described as a moment when believers become blameless in Christ and there will be no condemnation in it. The Bible teaches that this event will happen in a split-second, in the twinkling of an eye, and it will be a day of blessing for all who believe. It is also referred to as the Day of Christ, which is distinct from the Day of the Lord, the seven-year Tribulation of wrath and judgment that follows the Rapture. The Bible teaches that believers must endure to the end in order to be part of this event, and it emphasizes the importance of living a life of faithfulness and perseverance until the end. The doctrine of the Rapture is designed to give us courage for life, bringing balance because we know absolutely what is going to happen but not exactly when.
