Where does motivation to study the Word come from?
It comes from you. Diligence is the one thing we have to add to God’s plan — no one else can give us spiritual hunger. God promises blessing and satisfaction to those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, but we must supply the inner motivation: choosing to look away from the world’s distractions and to be persistent and hungry for the Word.
