List at least five reasons why the Bible is important.

The Bible is the mind of Christ, His thinking on every subject; God has magnified His Word above His very name; it existed as wisdom before human history; it surpasses all human intellectual achievement; it is our most important provision for daily life; our response to it determines blessing or cursing in time and is the basis of our eternal reward; and nations themselves stand or fall by their attitude toward it.
