How would you explain to a friend the importance and purpose of the Bible? What Scriptures would you use?
I would tell a friend that the Bible is not merely a religious book but God’s own message — God-breathed, the very mind of Christ — given so we can know Him and be equipped for life. It teaches us the truth, shows us where we are wrong, corrects our course, and trains us toward maturity. It is the most important provision God has given for daily living, and our whole response to Him hinges on our response to His Word.
