What is the relationship between Bible study and spiritual growth?
The Word is the basis of our salvation, our security, and our growth. Peter says to long for the pure milk of the Word like newborn babes, so that by it we may grow. The normal Christian life is a life of growth — moving from infancy to maturity — and there is only one way to fulfill God’s plan for us: by growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
