What are the five works of the Holy Spirit in regard to the Word?

Revelation — God the Spirit revealing what man could never discover on his own; Inspiration — controlling the writers so what they wrote was exactly His message; Preservation — keeping the Word firmly fixed and settled forever; Illumination — casting light so the written Word becomes clear and applicable to the believer; and Interpretation — there is one correct interpretation of any passage, the Bible’s own, discovered by the laws of hermeneutics.
