Paul says all Scripture is profitable — beneficial — and lists what it is profitable for: teaching (the doctrine we base our decisions on), reproof (convicting us where we have wandered), correction (restoring us to the right way), and training in righteousness (leading us from spiritual infancy to maturity), so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
