What is the two-fold mission of the Church?

Evangelism and edification. First evangelize — win people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; then edify — bring those people to spiritual maturity so they can function in the Body of Christ in further evangelism and edification. When a church keeps this priority, it has phenomenal potential to glorify God.
