What was God's purpose in creating the Church and what is its destiny?
God’s purpose is that, in all the ages to come, He might display the surpassing riches of His grace toward us in Christ. The Church is God’s display piece for eternity — raised and seated with Christ now, and destined to reign with Him and share His glory forever, so that the whole angelic realm will stand in awe of the grace God has poured out on her.
