What is the spiritual life, and how do we live it?

The spiritual life involves living in fellowship with God through His Word, walking just as He walked, and making progress towards spiritual maturity and fruitfulness. To dwell in Him is to gain His wisdom daily by seeking it in His Word, and to live in the Word is to live a life of fellowship under God's special care. Obedience to the Lord through His Word brings the believer into a deeper and closer relationship with Him, resulting in spiritual progress on our journey of faith. The goal of the spiritual life is to have 'the love of God perfected' in us, which means becoming mature or complete in growth.
