How does Job deal with his sorrow and pain after Satan’s first assault?
When the blows had all fallen, Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and then he fell to the ground and worshiped, saying, "The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD." His sorrow was beyond measure, his soul ripped in two, yet his pain was encompassed by his faith. Through all this Job did not sin nor blame God, and so he did not give Satan the victory the enemy so desired.
