Every fear we nurse in our lives gives the enemy a place to work, a base from which to launch his assault. Satan studies us; he knows what we are afraid of and knows the very things that cause us to question the goodness and grace of God. Those are precisely the things he will use against us, as he used Job's fear for his children. To harbor a fear is to hand the enemy his point of attack.
