What is the Millennium, and what does it entail?

The Millennium is the thousand-year reign of Christ on this Earth, as described in Revelation 20. It will be a period of perfect environment, perfect government, absolute and complete justice, and divine provision. During this time, there will be no warfare or violence, and the devil will be bound from Earth. This period serves as humanity's greatest test to disprove the claim that environment is the issue. Despite the perfection of Christ's rule, some people will remain unhappy, acting as complainers and whiners who despise His leadership, authority, and government. After a thousand years, God will turn the devil loose, and he will lead multitudes who lived through this perfect sabbath in a revolt. The Millennium is characterized by a 1,000-year sabbath, where there will be plenty for all, and the Earth will be bursting with divine provision. This period will put to rest forever the human claim that environment is the issue.
