What is our reward in eternity?
If citation is extended, the book's own "Reward" section (pp. 274-275, 277) teaches this. Believers are commanded to "lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven" (Matt. 6:19-21) by redeeming their time; the Lord's reward "is with Him, to render to every man according to what he has done" (Rev. 22:12). Reward is given for faithful production -- what the Holy Spirit does through us, not human good -- and so is in direct proportion to faith, not works in the flesh (1 Cor. 3:12-15; 9:16-27; 2 Cor. 5:9-11; Rev. 3:11). Reward is received soon after the Rapture at the Bema, the Judgment Seat of Christ, where no sin is judged (it was judged at the cross) but human good is tested by fire; only what was done in the filling of the Spirit survives and is rewarded (1 Cor. 3:9-15). The book names four categories of reward in eternity: praise (1 Cor. 4:5); crowns (1 Cor. 9:24-27) -- of righteousness, of joy, of glory, of life, and the incorruptible crown; rank and authority (Matt. 25:14-23; 24:45-47; Rev. 2:26); and glory (Dan. 12:3; Rom. 8:17-18; Rev. 2:28).
