What is divine production, and how does it relate to the Holy Spirit's work in a believer's life?
Divine production is the visible result of the Holy Spirit working through a believer, consisting of every thought, word, and deed performed in the filling of the Holy Spirit. It is the only production that counts with God and is produced solely by grace. This production includes the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). The maturing believer will be spiritually strong, healthy, and vibrant in spite of testing, and will not cease to yield this fruit. Anxiety and worry are mental attitude sins that take us out of the divine power sphere, making it impossible to coexist with divine production. Divine production requires the filling of the Holy Spirit, and all production that counts with God comes one way: by grace. Our rewards in Heaven will be in direct proportion to our faith on Earth, which is trusting what God has said and believing His Word. At the Bema, the Judgment Seat of Christ, only divine production will survive the fire, and we will receive our reward based on how much we let God do in our lives on Earth.
