What is divine production?
Divine production is the visible result of the Holy Spirit working through a believer, consisting of every thought, word, and deed performed in the filling of the Holy Spirit. It is the only production that counts with God and is produced solely by grace. Because it requires the filling of the Holy Spirit, divine production cannot coexist with anxiety or worry, as sin takes a believer out of the divine power sphere.
This production includes the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal. 5:22–23). While young believers show signs of fruit, maturing fruit is evidence of spiritual growth and the result of choosing to walk in the Spirit. Believers cannot produce this fruit in their own energy.
Divine production is rewarded by Jesus Christ at the Bema, the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:9–11). While human works done in own strength will be consumed by fire, all divine production will survive and be rewarded (1 Cor. 3:9–15). Consequently, rewards in Heaven are in direct proportion to the faith exercised on Earth.
