What was God's solution to sin?

God's solution to sin was to provide a Savior. From eternity past He planned to send His own Son to bear the penalty for sin in our place, so that by faith in Him we could be redeemed and made alive to God. Before there was ever a problem, God already had the solution, wrapped up in the Person of His Son.
