Why did God allow the Fall?
God allowed the Fall because He chose to give man genuine freedom - and freedom is only real if the choice to reject Him is also real. He valued authentic love and volition over forced obedience, and so, knowing the terrible cost, He built the possibility of the Fall into the gift of a free will. That He gave the gift anyway tells us how highly He values human freedom.
