What is the royal code of conduct? Name and explain its five laws.

As members of the Royal Family of God we are called to live by a royal code of conduct, a code that sets a divine standard we can only attain by putting grace to work every day. Its five laws are: (1) The Law of Life, that in Christ we have been set free from death, sin, and Satan and are to walk according to the Spirit as those alive to God (Romans 8:1-2). (2) The Law of Liberty, that Christ has set us free and given us the right and responsibility to choose how we live in matters the Word does not forbid, without judging or forcing other believers (Galatians 5:1). (3) The Law of Love, higher than liberty, by which we willingly refrain from allowable things that would cause a weaker brother to stumble, because we are our brother's keeper (Romans 15:1). (4) The Law of Self-denial, by which we restrict ourselves for the sake of unbelievers, remembering we are ambassadors whose lives may declare the Gospel more forcefully than our words (1 Corinthians 10:23-24, 33). (5) The Law of Supreme Sacrifice, a law only heroes live by, which best illustrates the passion of Christ's love as He counted others more important than Himself and humbled Himself to death on a cross (2 Corinthians 8:9).
