Describe the method of evangelism outlined in 1 Peter 3:15.

First, sanctify Christ as Lord in your heart — give Him first place; then you will be satisfied and have real hope. Be ready — prepared and equipped — to make a defense to everyone who asks you for a reason for your hope. This is evangelism by response: when our lives show a stability and confidence the world cannot generate, people ask, and we answer — always with gentleness and reverence.
