Define meekness in the biblical sense.

Meekness (prautes) is not weakness — it is power under control. The Greeks used the word praus for a war horse of tremendous strength trained to obey instantly at the slightest touch. Toward God it is the inwrought grace of a soul that accepts His dealings as good without resisting. Christ was meek not because He could not help Himself, but because He had the infinite resources of God at His command and held them under perfect control.
