How do we know God operates by a plan?
We know God operates by a plan because He says so plainly and demonstrates it throughout history. He declares 'the end from the beginning' and says 'My purpose will be established,' and Romans 8 shows Him working all things according to the counsel of His will. He did not wind up the universe like a toy and turn it loose; He had a plan before creation and has revealed it in ever-greater detail through Scripture.
