What does “predestined” (proorizo) mean in Scripture?
'Predestined' translates proorizo - to mark out boundaries beforehand, to establish a destiny. God established a destiny for everyone who would respond to Christ: on earth, union with Him and a particular work to accomplish; in eternity, everlasting life and an inheritance. It is not coercion but God setting the boundaries of the life He already foresaw.
