How would you explain to an unbelieving friend the fact that God had a plan for man even before man had a problem? What Scriptures would you use?
Before man ever sinned, God already had the whole plan in place. He declares the end from the beginning, and Romans 8 shows Him working everything — the good and the bad alike — toward good for those who love Him. So I would tell a friend: your life is not an accident and your troubles are not the end of the story. The God who saw the problem before it ever happened already prepared the answer in Christ, and He is able to weave even the hard things into good.
