What does the Bible teach about energized prayer?
Energized prayer is the kind of prayer that lets loose earthshaking power. According to James 5:16, 'the energized prayer of any believer has great power.' This means that when our prayers are energized, God will demonstrate His power through us. To have energized prayer, we must be plugged into the power source - which is being filled by the Holy Spirit and having our will in line with God's will. When we know His Word and pray in step with His purpose, our prayers become a force to be reckoned with. The Bible teaches that every believer has access to God 24 hours a day for the rest of their lives (Heb. 4:16), and that anyone can have powerful prayers when they are filled by the Holy Spirit and praying in line with God's will.
