What is the only source of power for living the Christian life?
The only source of power for living the Christian life is God the Holy Spirit. The only way any of us can run our race and expect to win is by plugging in to His energizing power. When we are filled by means of the Spirit, He leads us into conformity to Jesus Christ and energizes us with the new, resurrection life of Christ; apart from His filling there is no growth, no service, no blessing, and no reward. Only faith can open the floodgates in our souls and release the power of the Spirit to flow through us like rivers of living water.
