How would you explain the ambassadorship of the believer to a friend? What Scriptures would you use?
I would tell a friend that a Christian is an ambassador — a personal representative of Jesus Christ in a world that does not know Him. An ambassador does not appoint or support himself; God appoints us and supplies our needs. We are citizens of another country (Heaven), carrying written instructions (the Bible), and our one message is God's appeal: be reconciled to Him. Everything we say and do reflects on the One who sent us.
