Describe how Daniel illustrates faith-rest.
Daniel illustrates faith-rest as a king pacing in a palace while Daniel rests in a pit. King Darius, surrounded by luxury and abundance but not knowing how to rest, spent a miserable, sleepless night after Daniel was cast into the lions' den, and rushed out at dawn to see whether what he feared had happened. Daniel, however, did not need anything changed; he was not living under his circumstances, so no matter how hungry the lions looked he was able to relax and got a good night's rest, because he trusted his God. Nothing puts the enemy to shame like faith-rest in the believer.
