Right now the Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God, and He is at every moment watching over us for protection and provision, for the One who keeps us never sleeps. On behalf of every believer He is engaged in five ministries. As our Advocate He defends us; as our Intercessor He prays for us; as our great Shepherd He supplies us; as our Forerunner He opens the path to God for us; and as our High Priest He sets us apart for service to God. Because of this present session of Christ, we never have to face the enemy alone.
