What was Paul’s secret to contentment?
Paul's secret to contentment was learning to accept himself exactly as he was, weaknesses, cracks, flaws, and all, because that is how God accepts him. When we learn to be thankful for our weaknesses and our adversities and for the things we are not strong enough to control, we never run out of reasons to give thanks and to celebrate grace. Being able to celebrate our weaknesses is the key to contentment in the Christian life; this is the secret of being content that Paul said he had learned in Philippians 4.
