Name at least five small things related in the Bible that God used for great purposes.
God especially delights in using small things (Zechariah 4:10). Scripture is full of them: a shepherd's rod in Moses' hand (Exodus 4:2), the jawbone of a donkey wielded by Samson (Judges 15:15), five smooth stones in David's sling (1 Samuel 17:40), a widow's handful of meal (1 Kings 17:12), a little jar of oil (2 Kings 4:2), a small cloud the size of a man's hand (1 Kings 18:44), a mustard seed (Matthew 13:31-32), and five loaves and two fish (John 6:9). Shamgar had an ox goad, Dorcas had a needle, Rahab had some string, and Mary had some ointment; the question for us is what small thing we have that we will dedicate to God, for He can use anything we will give Him.
