What is divine viewpoint, and how does it differ from human viewpoint?

Divine viewpoint is a perspective that sees all the potential in other members of the human race. It recognizes the infinite worth God vested in them through the sacrifice of His Son. This stands in contrast to human viewpoint, which sees only the surface. Our perception of others changes because of the profound change that takes place in us at salvation. Paul says we are 'totally new creatures' in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). The Holy Spirit places us in Christ and gives us a new position, life, power, purpose, and destiny. At the moment of our salvation, God reconciles us to Himself through Christ and gives us the ministry of reconciliation, making us ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor. 5:18-21). This divine viewpoint is not the result of our own work but is a gift from God, who gave His Son to make us the righteousness of God in Him.
