Retell the story of Zaccheus' encounter with Jesus.
Zaccheus, a rich chief tax-collector despised as a traitor and a sinner, was so eager to see Jesus that he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree. Jesus stopped, looked up, and invited Himself to his house. Zaccheus received Him gladly, and salvation came to his house that day - his pledge to give to the poor and repay fourfold those he had cheated was the glad response to salvation, not the price of it.
