Second, grieve not the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30)—stop the sin that brings Him the grief of losing a loved one. Third, quench not the Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19)—do not douse His fire through indifference toward the Word of God. Fourth, walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16)—make it a way of life to live every day in His power. The first is passive, something we receive; the other three are active, personal decisions that result in our consistently being filled.",
