As a soul kink, if we do not fill our mind with the Word, we will instead fill it with emptiness and vanity. This results in living in a state of torment of soul, similar to Lot. According to Ephesians 4:17-19, when we refuse to use our minds for Bible study, we become darkened in understanding, excluded from the life of God, and given over to sensuality. In contrast, when we choose to fill our mind with the Word, our conscience becomes a storehouse of truth, and we can live with a clear conscience. The choice between these two paths is crucial, as it determines whether we will walk in the futility of our minds or in the understanding of God.",
