 "answer": "The faith-rest technique is simply the process of claiming God's promises, day after day, until our faith grows strong. Take a problem like anxiety over your needs. You might begin the morning by claiming a chain of promises like this: God has promised to supply my needs (Philippians 4:19) and I know He is able to do so (2 Corinthians 9:8); after all, if He gave His own Son for me, He will not withhold other things (Romans 8:32); therefore I should not be anxious, but should let His peace guard my thinking (Philippians 4:6-7) and cast my cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7) as I wait on the Lord (Isaiah 40:31), for He is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9), and if I seek first His kingdom and righteousness, all other things will be provided (Matthew 6:33). Claiming the promises this way is how we enter and stay in God's rest.",
