The faith-rest technique involves claiming biblical promises daily until our faith grows strong. We should not fear living out our lives in a wilderness experience of test and failure, but rather fear failing to enter the faith-rest life by not taking God at His Word (Hebrews 4:1). Daniel illustrates faith-rest as he rested in a pit while King Darius paced in his palace. The Promised Land is a picture of spiritual maturity and entrance into the full enjoyment of divine blessing, where every battle is still won by faith-rest. There are eight sabbaths mentioned in the Bible, all designed to teach us to cease from our own works and rest in what God has already provided.",
